Are you applying? If so, good luck! I can say from experience that it is totally fun to run around feeling all important on the Hill, observing the wonks in their natural habitat, but I imagine it's even more so when you get to actually work in the same house as, um, certain extremely awesome people. ^^

My grandparents don't want me to and say I'll be on my own financially this summer if I do this, but.....Screw it I have three teachers who adore me (one who has taught at the Presidential Classroom) and will totally write up awesome recs. So YES I AM DOING THIS. I WILL WORK FOUR JOBS ON THE SIDE AND NEVER SLEEP BUT I WILL.

My only concern is I'll be just out of high school (but enrolled in a college). Do you think they're looking for fresh graduates?
