The Promise - Wu ji     HQ 15MB    HD480p 30MB    HD720p 74MB
A completely different US trailer for Chen Kaige's latest movie (The Emperor and the Assassin, Farewell My Concubine), a romantic tale of love, loyalty, ambition and destiny, that truly looks epic. The movie tells the fantastic story of a beautiful princess who becomes the object of affection and intrigue for a duke, a general, and a slave in this period fantasy. Maybe a bit kitschy but surely very colourful.

United 93 - Flight 93     HQ 22MB    HD480p 45MB    HD720p 105MB
The attempt of a real time account of the events on United Flight 93, one of the planes hijacked on 9/11 that crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania when passengers foiled the terrorist plot.
Since the teaser trailer was released I had the opportunity to watch Bloody Sunday, another movie directed by Paul Greengrass which somehow reassured me that the director is capable of tackling such a difficult subject. However, the fact that they changed the title from Flight 93 to United 93 does nothing to convince me that this movie is really necessary, especially not from a major Hollywood studio.

Bandidas     19 MB
A different trailer with much less hectic editing that makes it easier to look at. Maybe it is an entertaining movie after all. Penélope Cruz and Salma Hayek play a bank-robbing duo in turn-of-the-century Mexico who try to combat a ruthless enforcer terrorizing of their town. Supporting cast includes Steve Zahn, Dwight Yoakam and Sam Shepard. The movie is co-written by Luc Besson.

Stoned     7 MB    Mazur    Clip1   Clip2   Clip3
Biopic of debauched 1960s rock icon, Brian Jones, the charismatic guitarist who founded the Rolling Stones but was fired in 1969 and found dead at the bottom of his swimming pool a few weeks later. Directorial debut of Stephen Woolley, long time producer of Neil Jordan. Limited release in the US starting this weekend. Additionally, an interview with Monet Mazur who plays Anita Pallenberg and three clips.

Inside Man     Clip1   Clip2   Clip3   Clip4   Clip5   Clip6
Bonus: Six clips for this thriller about a tough cop (Denzel Washington), who matches wits with a clever bank robber (Clive Owen), in a tense hostage drama. As the dangerous cat-and-mouse game unfolds, a wild card emerges: A power broker (Jodie Foster) with a hidden agenda, who injects even more instability into an already volatile situation. Directed by Spike Lee. Movie opens this weekend in a lot of countries around the world, reviews are mostly positive. The trailer.
