Based on a true story and the book by Michael Lewis (The Blind Side, Liar's Poker) about general manager Billy Beane (Brad Pitt) of the Oakland A's baseball team. Forced to reinvent his team on a tight budget, he will have to outsmart the richer clubs. He teams with an Ivy League grad (Jonah Hill) in an unlikely partnership, recruiting bargain players that the scouts call flawed, but all of whom have an ability to get on base, score runs, and win games. It's more than baseball, it's a revolution - one that challenges old school traditions and puts him in the crosshairs of those who say he's tearing out the heart and soul of the game. Also part of the cast are Philip Seymour Hoffman, Robin Wright and Kathyrn Morris. Directed by Bennett Miller (Capote), Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network, "The West Wing") did the latest script-rewrite.
I first thought the movie is doomed the first time I saw Jonah Hill but I think he might actually be bearable.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2     HD480p 51MB   HD720p 119MB   HD1080p 200MB
Possibly the last Harry Potter trailer ever, that seems even a tad more epic than usual. They sure aren't in Kansas anymore. The battle between the good and evil forces of the Wizarding world escalates into an all-out war. The stakes have never been higher and no one is safe. But it is Harry Potter who may be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice as he draws closer to the climactic showdown with Lord Voldemort. It all ends here.
Who would've thought a decade ago, Daniel Radcliffe performing at the Tonys, Emma Watson on the cover of "Vogue".

The Muppets     HD480p 19MB   HD720p 47MB
In all likelihood better than most of the "Green Lantern" movie, certainly much funnier, the third teaser for the upcoming Muppets movie.

Bellflower     HD480p 40MB   HD720p 100MB
Trailer for an indie movie that's described as an apocalyptic love story for the Mad Max generation, which seems about right judging by the trailer and the (mostly positive) reviews from festivals. It follows two friends who spend their time building flamethrowers and other weapons in the hope that a global apocalypse will occur and clear the runway for their imaginary gang to reign supreme. While waiting for the destruction to commence, one of them meets a charismatic young woman and falls in love.
Looks especially visually interesting, though reviews indicate there's also a good amount of violence.

Buck     HD480p 49MB   HD720p 121MB
For the horse lovers, a documentary that follows horse trainer Buck Brannaman from his abusive childhood to his phenomenally successful approach to horses. A real-life "horse-whisperer", he eschews the violence of his upbringing and teaches people to communicate with their horses through leadership and sensitivity, not punishment. He possesses near magical abilities as he dramatically transforms horses - and people - with his understanding, compassion and respect. A recent NYT article about Brannaman. Now in limited release in the US.
