Branding Week 1

Dec 16, 2008 18:46

Getting the branding REALLY sucked. Done via sautering iron, by Dan of Eternal Body Art.
Scrubbing with toothbrush done in the shower, no other forms of irritants.
Plan to go back later, probably when these are healing better, for further work.

Placing images under a cut, so that you don't have to see it if you don't want to.

LOL I was like "UH OH WINONA OPENED IT"
Wait til it starts getting darker when it seriously scabs.
And then I have to pick the scabs off.

DO YOU WANT TO HANG OUT TOMORROW?

Haha there was more to the design, but it hurt so badly that I couldn't get any more done in that sitting.

Oh man. The last one looks so painful. I fell once (lol, well, I fall all the time) and got a bad scrape or something on my ankle and instead of scabbing it did this weird mushy yellow pus-esque shit that just kept peeling. That last picture reminded me of it. They look so painful, the edges are raised! Is this how everything is supposed to progress?

I don't really know much about branding! So keep me updated/informed :]

The last one really does look painful, but I don't feel anything at all except for after scrubbing it in the shower. Right now there's no pus, which is a good thing because I don't want an infected branding! I checked with Dan and he said that they look beautiful and are healing up quite well.
