Um. I had a nice long lovely post, but LJ just ate it. Ate it! Ate it dead!

So. To sum up the late intro ramblings:

2. I blame my absence on Harry Dresden through dubious logic.

Yay, you're back! And this means you'll keep posting, yes? I don't think you can blame wizards every time you disappear for a few months, or however long it is.

I experienced something similar with CTY - the first few years I was really depressed the days after I left, but last year was remarkably different. In my case, I think I had mentally prepared for the transition, the ending of that part of my life. I definitely had the exact same experience my first year - there are other people who like studying and being geeky?

That's a fairly impressive goal for NaNo. I have no idea how you'll manage to write that many words each day, but I'm sure you can. Just remember, you do have people who want to read what you write (like, say, last year's NaNo?), so I would definitely support posting each day's episode online.

Alas for LJ entry-eating and the unglory it brings you. On the other hand, I know few people that could manage a glorious return to LJ, so I think you're doing just fine by being here and blogging.

You should download a client or something! I use Semagic when not at work and it automagically saves your drafts. But yeah. LJ devours entries uf you use the site with astonishing regularity. >__>
