[The Doctor stands in a room in a rather bloody mess. His clothes stained from the explosion that had just occurred moments ago as Rose Tyler exploded right in his view. She was just an arms length away.

However, he's unharmed by the explosion. He's now a bit distraught by what just happened.]

Rose... [He said quietly as he kneels down in a pool

[Yzak happens to pass by, or rather patrol the corridor. Something is going to happen, just like it does every Thurs- and Sunday.
When he hears a load bang he turns on his heel and approaches the room the noise has come from.
He opens the door, making not a single noise himself and looks at the scene before him.
He watches as the name of Rose Tyler turns red on the notebook's page in his hand.]

[Out of breath, Naoto arrived at the vacant room the doctor was standing in. She had heard the noise.
She looked at him for a long moment before she was finally able to speak again. All of this was ... too unbelievable, too horrible.]

Tyler-san ... Doctor-san ...

Dammit! Why did this bloody game had to choose Rose?! [He said in a frustrated voice as he turns toward Naoto.]

I wanted to save her, but I couldn't...

... I don't know. Nobody does. But ...

[She bites her lip, pausing shortly.]

Whatever happened is not your fault. It's simply that you could not have done anything to help her.
It was noble of her to sacrifice herself but I understand the loss you are feeling now. It's always so hard for those who are left behind ...

[The Marquis peeks into the room, eyeing the mess without expression. He's seen worse. He turns to face The Doctor.] She got unlucky. It happens to the best of us; even, sometimes, me. What's done is done, and there's nothing you can do about it now. Better to move on and get out of here, yes? What is it they say... It's what she would have wanted. [He has no idea what Rose would have wanted, actually, having only spoken to her a handful of times. But that line always seems to work on Upworlders, and he likes the dramatic flair of it.]

[He didn't want to hear it, but he knows full well that it was likely true. Angrily, he looks at the Marquis and immediately grabs the collar of his shirt.]

What do you you know? I could have saved her... I wanted to save her, but I failed!

[The Marqius raises an eyebrow, and slowly but deliberately removes The Doctor's hand from his collar.]

And we can't always get what we want, can we now, Doctor. Anger isn't going to bring her back, you know.
