I think there's definitely a lot of like....implied anger and a little betrayal with Cato going on-- it's so interesting to me, because the Games were presumably what his whole life was about, and I think at the end, he's definitely realizing just how much of a pawn in them he is.

Anyway, onto the fic itself! I love this so much. I started to get really interested in Cato after that one little scene with him in the movie (which was actually one of my favorite additions), and you wrote this so beautifully. This was Cato to a T. And second person is a hard thing to pull off, but I think you did it really well.
I'll have to go stalk your other THG fics now.....

I adored that scene with Cato, I very rarely see a movie addition I wish had been in the book, but that was definitely one. I have a lot of feelings about Cato and the careers in general, and that scene fit in with my feelings perfectly, haha. I'm glad you thought this fit! And I'm glad the second person worked for you, I love writing/reading it, but it always makes me nervous because I know how hit and miss it can be!
All my fic SHOULD be tagged here: http://tracingaladder.livejournal.com/tag/fandom%3A%20hunger%20games
