She sleeps with us from her middle-of-the-night wake-up (3:30ish) til morning (6:00). For the entire 2 1/2 hours she's with us, he sits and waits outside our door. The moment we open the door, he runs in and jumps on the bed...presumably to make sure she's OK.

Jasper was my cat for 12 years. The moment she arrived, he claimed her. It's no surprise that her first word was "kitty."
