Yes! That twist with Astra being called Madam President was really good.
I forget, what was the explanation for Amy and Zara becoming more human as they learned about emotions?
I'm not used to British voices, if there not very distinct the female ones all blend together to my ears, I had a lot of trouble telling Zara, Astrid and Zara, Romana apart. During the hugging bet at the end I had trouble figuring out who was doing what to whom.
I would also enjoy a spin off with Amy and Zara, not so much Palgrave though (and Zara's liking of him seemed very one sided). The telepathy thing was pretty awesome. I'm totally imagining Amy and Zara, running around the Academy on Gallifrey having Harry Potter esque adventures.
I did wonder why she had been credited as 'Madam President'.
I think it was the more they became human, the more they learnt about emotions and such. Also, I think Zara's change came from spending so much time with the Doctor and being in love.
At the beginning, I had trouble distinguishing between Amy and Zara but that was because I wasn't used to hearing Laura Doddington's voice. It didn't take long to get used to it again. That hugging scene confused the hell out of me. I think it started with Astra/Romana then Amy and Zara joined in. Thats how I saw it in my mind anyway.
I'M IMAGINING THAT NOW TOO!!!! I want to have a go at writing that now... (It will take a while though)
I still a bit confused, why were they slowly becoming more human? I think there was some explanation for this in the beginning but I've completely forgotten it. I'll have to go relisten to all of them again after I've finished all my finals papers for this week.
Yeah, I had trouble with that in the beginning too. I was glad I had listen to the prisoner's dilemma first because I was familiar with Zara's voice, but when trying to identify them in generally came down to: Does it sound crisp? Yes = Amy, No = Zara My mind played it is as Astra and Romana hugging, then Amy and Zara having a separate hug. Your version makes more sense.
PLEASE DO!!! It should definitely include a Gallifrian version of Heat magazine (coincidentally having the same title)!

I usually find I get voices confused until I can put a name to that voice. Then I'm fine.
I love the idea of a Gallifreyan version of Heat magazine! When I eventually write that fic, I'll be including that!
