Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1

Went to see Pt. 7 of the Harry Potter saga last night at the local AMC IMAX. Before I dive into spoiler comments behind the following cut, I'd like to comment on the quality of the IMAX. The sock would have been perfect.

As far as additions go, I was REALLY pleased they included Hermione wiping her parents of all memory of her existence. It's barely touched on in the book, but it's such a great example of her skill and her forethought.

We saw it today and thought most of the same things. I don't mind the quiet camping scenes so much because they make me feel how isolated and out of the loop the main characters are feeling. I was disappointed that it didn't go into the radio station having their friends on the air. Overall, I was very happy with it and can't wait for the next one.
