Saturday began like its predecessors here in Broomfield, with crazy errands and metaphors about headless chickens. By mid-afternoon, my eyelids just wouldn't stay propped open. On a side note, we have a book for Aurora entitled "I love you, Stinky Face!" which is about a little boy asking his mom if she would still love him if he were a swamp creature or a giant or things like that. When he asks her is she'd still love him if he were a stinky skunk, she says something like "If you were skunk, I'd just say 'I love you, Stinky Face!'" Now, I have running through my head, "I love you, Mutant Face!"

Gail and I went and saw The Last Air Bender as well, with the same swirl of negative comments, and we both came away enjoying the movie also. I think the Airbender fans forget it's a children's cartoon and expected something epic and more adult-ish (if that makes any sense) and people who don't know the cartoon were probably expecting an M. Night Shyamalan type movie and didn't get that either. For what it was, we enjoyed it, and also look forward to sequels.
