I'm home, and I'm married!

I'm barely arrived home from my wedding and honeymoon, a/k/a The Longest Vacation in Recorded History! After 19 days of a whirlwind of nervous wedding planning, joyous celebration with loving hearts, color, music, sun, fun, sunburn, island rum, the Lazy River, gorgeous blue Caribbean seawater, coconuts, bananas, love, love, love, I was ready to ( Read more... )

I want to hear all about the dress, the flowers, everything!

What's the date again?

I'm so pleased for you both! Have fun with it. Everything is far less formal and stuffy than you think it will be once it gets rolling along. Bring any traditions you love into it, and carve some from it. You're going to be beautiful!

glad to see you back home rested, happy and positively glowing through the computer!

thanks for the postcard, chica--i took a single look at that resplendent, impossible castle, and knew it must have been from the faerie princess.......

*smiles impishly as she's up to something*

You'd have just loved it, D.! traceroo April 24 2002, 09:05:55 UTC
I did think of you on the day. Have a wedding someday. Even if you don't get married, have a wedding. Have an "unwedding," as kajivar plans. It's fun, and you'd love it. And you should wear irridescent pastel faerie wings like Titania when you do!

I wonder indeed what you're up to...?

Sorry, no Madrigal traceroo April 23 2002, 09:47:52 UTC
Sorry, no can do! We had decided to play a Madrigal visit by ear this weekend and see how we felt after the honeymoon...and the answer is: exhausted! We have a baby shower to attend on Saturday afternoon, too.

Of course, that doesn't preclude coming out Sunday to say hello and show some photos. We'll see. I'll definitely find you if we're there!

(On other Madrigal fronts, Sabine & Martel will return at Event #2 of the season.)

Happy Birthday to you, too, WE! How was it? Did you get lots of cool loot? Did people honor you and treat you nicely? Did you eat rich food that's bad for you?

Thank you so much for your well wishings all around!

Well, somehedgehog and I had a small birthday gathering at the end of last month for both of our birthdays at Fire and Ice, which was a blast. And my actually birthday weekend was filled with way too many birthday dinners and cakes. And cupcakes. And pie. I had at least three birthday dinners over the course of four days. And a trip to New York City for the art museum.

As far as loot, I get less and less every year. But I did get my computer upgraded, and a few good books. Who can really ask for more? ;)

In short: An excellent birthday. ;)
