I love The Shadow Over Innsmouth. I read it years ago, and to this day, I occasionally see people who I feel have "The Innsmouth Look" and I laugh and laugh (to myself).

I have alternately tried to picture this in a believeable way, and then sometimes like the guy Chunk befriends in "Goonies."

I think of people who are sort of country yokels with blond hair and eyes Way too far apart, who you might see at the gas station in the sticks with a piece of straw sticking out their mouths. In England they'd be named Seth or Ruben, though in TX Bubba is more likely.
