Here's a shock for you: Played Conan last night!

I am obligated to give a whooping devil hands wave this morning for Barrack Obama. I made a campaign donation this morning, and ordered 2 bumper stickers and a placard for our apartment window. Booyah! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an Obama/Edwards ticket which would have me soaringly enthusiastic, but we'll see. I now think Clinton would be a ( Read more... )

On this advice, I think I'll go ahead and pre-order it, thanks much! Glad to hear it's so fun.

I'm a grilling freak myself. We'd picked up a cheapish outdoor grill when we were down at our apartment in CT, and still have and use it here. We don't have much of a back yard, but certainly enough to grill, and there would even be enough to sit and hang out if we were inclined to get things to sit on. ;)

I have to say, just moving back up here and deciding Mark would get into the gaming industry was the best decision evah. He got in, he works his ass off, but he enjoys it. There's really nothing better than getting paid for what you enjoy. The whole situation just pleases me to no end. So glad you guys are going for it, and Ian is going to have no trouble I'm certain. So happy!

Oh I'm so glad to know that's working out for you guys. I saw that Turbine just got a $40m shot in the arm, too, so the future's looking pretty over there, I guess!

I, too, am keeping my fingers crossed about an Obama/Edwards ticket. Don't like Clinton and don't trust her. I'd hate to see her as VP.

Out of curiosity, last time I remember you talking about it, you were supporting Clinton. Why the change of heart?

It was about even odds for me between Obama and Clinton. In the end, I decided to vote for Obama in our primary.

I like Clinton, but I don't love her. I think she's hard to love. I think she'd do a great job, but she's easy to dislike. I'm really excited mostly by her position as a woman with a genuine chance of success in this election. I share the fears of many, however, that the reign of our first female President or now VP might be marred by the ease of disliking her, however -- though I also think any woman politician would face the same.

What I like best about Obama is how inspirational he is. I think our whole country is just tired politically. I'm excited about a leader whom I think can inspire a lot of us (and get some good work done, too).

I've loved John Edwards from the start -- I just didn't believe he had a substantial chance of winning the Presidential nomination on his own. Really, it's Teresa Edwards I love most.

I used to really like HRC, but I'm very disappointed how she ran her campaign. I expected better of her, and I was glad my heart was set from the start on Obama b/c it was easier to watch her do things I found cringe-worthy.

Seriously, an Obama/Edwards ticket would fill me with an aggressive crazy devil-horn rocking cartwheel-turning glee. I think they could get a lot of stuff done. For that matter, I think Michelle Obama and Elizabeth Edwards would be amazing active forces for change and awesome as well. They're FIERCE.

Huh, no kidding? traceroo June 4 2008, 21:30:35 UTC
I'm a pizza purist. I do not approve of nonstandard or particularly modern ingredients on pizza, so chicken is right out there.

But in tacos? Love it! Only at home, though. Maybe I just like ours, but not restaurant tacos with the chicken? Maybe we make them differently? Not sure, but the homemade ones I lurve.

How's the baby?
