No, the mom doesn't even have to go out. She can be spring cleaning and he posts that he has to babysit since mom is busy today. Since when is parenting only mama's job? Kids do have two parents, right?

Of course moms were raised in this male chauvinist society, too, so I've even seen some of them comment that "Hubby will have to babysit this weekend while I'm off helping Mom move." Or some such crap. So she 'babysits' the rest of the time, then? I doubt that's what they call it. She's being a MOTHER to her children. What is a FATHER supposed to do, then? What is his parenting role exactly?

It's just infuriating.
