Did we know that Inkheart had even been made into a movie?? It opens April 2, according to an ad I randomly saw on the TV. Do I bother adding it to the suddenly-long list of movies to see over the next few weeks?? (I suggested to Th'Bloke that we might attempt to beat our previous record of One Movie A Year, and go for - I dunno - one every two months ... ). "Monsters vs. Aliens" looks a hoot, The Movie Show said good things about that Nicholas Cage thing (I can't stick him myself, but both Margaret and David said the movie was good ... ) ... then there's Inkheart (must re-read book!!) and Wild Things ... and ... :)
Well, I knew it was being made into a movie. I dragged Mr TQD over to the giant cardboard poster thing in the cinema one school holiday movie session so I could SQUEEE! excitedly at it. I'd heard about it previously, probably on the bookcrossing fora or somewhere.
I know nothing about it as yet, but I am looking forward to it. (Opinion will be revised following reviews.)
Oh, and M&D may have liked the Nicholas Cage movie, but Sandra Hall in the SMH didn't think much of it. I wouldn't mind seeing "Duplicity", but I doubt I'll get out to it. If I watched DVDs, it'd be okay, but I never have time to watch them.
