I'm reading The Namesake at the moment. And one of the main characters names his son Gogol after Nikolai Gogol.

Obviously I'm a bit of a dunce as I'd never heard of him before then. You're obviously not a dunce *G*.

It's one of those vaguely familiar names, but I must admit, it was "The Namesake" that brought it firmly to the forefront of my mind!

The movie opened here recently, and I would like to see it, but I feel it's going to be out on DVD before I have the chance!

How is London going? I had coffee the other night with Hawkette out at Parramatta as she was in Sydney for some work orientation thing.

My Mum and Dad saw it and loved it. I think it's already finished over here. I'll be watching it on DVD I guess. It's good anyway as I like a big gap between reading the novel and watching the movie. Otherwise I can't give the movie the chance it deserves.

London is getting better. Especially as Spring is here, the weather is warmer and the sun doesn't go down until 8ish. Definitely makes for an improvement.

Yeh Hawkette mentioned that she had coffee with you and that you said Hi. I think shortly after I found your blog on LJ (don't know why I didn't know about it before.) So I'll be checking in regularly from now on!
