I went kayaking a week ago, and got lost (alone, with no food/water/phone) for 2 hours. The only reason things worked out is because the route I took connected with the route I SHOULD have taken, so I ended up where i had to be, otherwise, things could have been as bad as I imagined. Especially since there was a storm at the time.
Suffice to say, what happened for about 15 minutes out of those 2 hours was the most pathetic display of fear/hopelessness/panic I could have ever expected from myself. Learned a lot from it though, so I suppose it was worthwhile.
when I sat in my closet on the verge of tears because i had run out of coke, and was scraping off what i thought was leftover powder off the metal surface i did it off with a razor blade. i ended up snorting clumpy month old coke, mixed with tiny pieces of metal, with the nosebleed i got after that serving as testament i really should stop that shit.

That was probably my most pathetic moment, too.
I hated my life in middle school, it's a wonder I'm alive now.
