Does anyone else sometimes leave comment notifications on when making an anon post just to see their inbox fill up because it's the only email they get?

I'm usually checking the posts as they progress, so I turn the notifications off so I don't have to read everything twice.

I get a good amount of email, but LJ comment notifications tend to be my favorite email messages on an average day.

is there a less-than-rude way to tell my brother I don't want him to call when he's drunk off his ass and never more so than when it's early in the day?

Eh...usually you just have to say outright "Don't call me unless you're sober."

People who call drunk early in the morning usually have a problem, tell him that. He will think you suspect a problem and learn to hide it from others until he does eventually descend into alcoholism.

I keep blowing off my friends to smoke weed, play videogames, and internet. I find myself honestly more interested in this than hanging out with them. They have noticed and call less, and I feel kind of bad about that and also like what I'm doing might not be healthy. But videogames are fun, and people aren't so much. There are still one or two friends I'll make time for, but basically, validate my ridiculously unhealthy life choices tqc_anon.
