one of our dogs has eaten some pretty nasty goddamn things. i'm not sure what tops his list. he loves that five gum but it's not gross, really. oh, wait. our other dog (my dog, technically) once slipped out of my parents' bedroom one night (at the time he tended to sleep in their bed, he's never liked sleeping by me) about 10 years ago when my sister had pet mice and he got into her room, somehow got one of her mice out of its cage, ate part of it and left it in the hall. i woke up in the middle of the night to pee and didn't have my glasses on and it looked like a little white sock from what i saw so i just went back to bed. woke up in the morning and looked with my glasses on, started screaming and crying because it was my sister's mouse.
