Hey Anon. What are some things you'd like to tell us about the place you work, but wouldn't normally post for fear of ending up adding to the unemployment rate?
The school system needs a complete makeover, and I honestly don't see how anyone is comfortable with the way the state performs and with the way the parish performs scholastically. There are only a handful of good [public] schools in the parish, and those are generally the magnet schools. The majority of the neighborhood schools are horrible. The school board shouldn't be surprised that they have such a severe teacher and substitute teacher shortage, which is another thing that hinders a student's education. It all sucks :(
i hate the way some people can't take responsibility for their actions. Just a thought, but maybe the reason you get in trouble isn't because you are a minority, but because you're not doing your job.

People steal little things all the time (things that are being sold in the store, not just pens) and mark it out, or something. I don't really know how it works.
In the kitchen of a place I used to work, this woman I knew there regularly pickd stuff off the floor she had dropped and served it. First it would be like a frozen burger and she'd throw it on the grill and say "that will kill all the germs!" but then it would be like tomato slices or cooked French fries... yeah I don't eat out anymore.
