today was my mom's birthday and for it my dad traded his car for a 2002 porsche for her. he said he wanted them to have one before they were too old for sports cars. the way i've worded that makes it sound like it's what she wanted but she is really excited and it's the impractical car she's always wanted.

it is! i told her since we're all off at college she doesn't need extra space anymore, anyway hahaha. and there's a tiny backseat and she told me people she doesn't like can sit back there.
