The most last minute convention I've ever been to but OMG was it fun. ^_^ I've haven't felt so in my element in a busy public place in a long time. Why I didn't hear about this con until this weekend is beyond me, especially since I specifically searched Seattle area anime cons a couple weeks back and came up dry *gives Google the evil eye*.

Yeah, that was preeeeeeetty much the response I got from all the doujinshi/yaoi vendors at NYAF AND I-Con. Yeah, when you sell f***ing TENTACLE PORN, how dare you look down your nose at me for wanting robots boinking other robots! Grrrrr.

You KNOW I'm going to BotCon and we'd better meet up! I'll be the one dressed like it's a goth music festival!! (In Florida, in June? I may have to rethink this...)

Yes of course we'll meet up! I considered bringing some goth gear too but I also have this strange urge to dress up as Carly or some other obnoxious canon human. The Man wants me to go as Lockdown, but I'm afraid I'll end up looking like a Homie Clown. And yeah, the whole Florida in summer thing really limits comfortable costume choices. *shrug* Whatever, I'll figure something out. In the meantime, I'm counting down the days. ^.^

i have many plans to be at botcon with laratron. as for what you should wear, i suggest clothes. they're really in style this season. ;-P

I am booking flights in may (£399 return) and I will be the out of place red haired english girl shorter than everyone ever! Looking entirely lost buahahaha. Also just in jeans and a top for me, not getting me on a plane in anything that draws attention to me XD

Hopefully!! I shall let you know all my flight details once/if they get sorted. Nothing drastically horrible happening to me between now and then I should be there.
