Alright, so we had the prg birthday zombie party. oldgrue and myself spent most of the day cooking. I started around 0800 hrs, oldgrue showed a couple hours later, with some help from silverflight throughout the day, and another friend showing up around dinner to help us. The result of over 24 manhours of work is inside.

Wow. I think that was one heck of a major undertaking. Did prg love it? I showed the pics to my soon-to-be 8 year old and asked him if that's a good idea for a birthday cake, assuming he would be grossed out. Didn't work- he really likes it.

D-UF: Yes, it was. Well worth the effort too. She thoroughly enjoyed it. Furthermore, I'll get to eat that cake (frozen) for the next few months. If you decide to do it for the 8yo, be ready for lots o'work.
