Me: You can call me Bri, though I also respond to most of my characters' names.
I Play:
Glinda, from Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West (
sent_to_try_us)
Poison Ivy/Pamela Isley, from Batman: The Animated Series (
toxicological)
Liir, also from Wicked (
un_familiar)
Annabelle Tillman, from Loving Annabelle (
isntshejailbait)
Stats/permissions for:
Glinda Poison Ivy Liir Annabelle Available on: Gmail at mistressofarms at gmail dot com; sometimes IRC (most commonly as PoisonIvy, sometimes as Glinda, Liir, or Annabelle). Feel free to add me and chatter away, I love it. All my nicks should ping me, but if you definitely want my attention, say 'Ivy', because that is a noisy ping.
IRC Statuses:
Ivy|robbingbanks = down the street (back in about an hour)
Ivy|waterfall = showertiems (back in 10-30mins)
Ivy|ironchef = cooking (...could be hours)
Can't find me? Ask Imoen(/Simone), Harley or Thor if they've seen me around. All three will know how to contact me if I seem to be missing.
Timezone/Language: GMT +10 hours (Melbourne, Australia); English, with some bastardized Latin and terrible, terrible French. I am usually available on weekends and Wednesday my time, which is Friday/Saturday/Tuesday for those of you not in Australasia.
Betaing: I'll try! My focus is generally more on spelling, grammar, coherency and voice. It is proven that my concept of funny is not most people's concept of funny. If I know the canon, this will go a lot better.
Thread Jumping: BRING IT ON. If you get no response and you can see I'm playing, tap me - Gmail sometimes doesn't like notifications. I especially encourage threadjumping if I've previously threadjumped your character, because that means I really want to play with you.
The Playing Experience: I will thread forever and ever and ever, picking up comments almost endlessly until the thread reaches a natural conclusion or you give up. Just ask Imoen's player. Due to timezones, I am often not online when the rest of you are, but feel free to jump my posts or threads late. Also feel free to prod me if you didn't want that thread to end/would like another thread now, plz. There may be a slight delay if I'm not in the right headspace for the character you want.
As a player I do not ever intend to make anyone else uncomfortable or feel like they have to do something. I play Poison Ivy, who is badtouchy and scary, and am quite happy to leave a character alone or make her walk away if you are becoming uncomfortable with the situation. OOC communication is awesome. The others are all very well behaved, but if they are doing something you don't like, tell me.
I like crack and srs bznss equally well, and will play whatever suits.
AUs: Yes please.
Comfort Levels: My major, major squick is gruesome and descriptive character death yes, I know I play Poison Ivy; yes, she makes me squirm and feel unwell. I don't really like serious fights; for Glinda and Liir, I really don't like fights at all as they're mostly gentle and relatively defenceless/liable to emo all over the damn place. Also, they'll run away.
Violence is fine, if you warn me and give me an out. My characters losing fights is fine and expected, even for my godmoder Ivy. She's not invulnerable. Badtouch is fine. Most things are fine if I have an opportunity to say 'No, please don't do that'.
Concrit: I normally comment in the concrit comm every week. You are welcome to crit or query me there. I do not have crit posts up in my journals. I dislike anonymous crit intensely, but will definitely respond to anonymous questions. Due to my tendency to THREAD FOREVER, it's easy to miss threads of mine, and I do not mind questions of 'wtf happened there?' at all. There may be rambly essays in response. You have been warned.
Other: My ability to be online depends greatly on the day and time. I have to be awake early most mornings, and thus can't stay up late. I am out of the house for ten hours most days, and can't workninja in the comm or onto IRC. If we're chatting and I ABRUPTLY VANISH, I have probably been workninjaing onto Gchat. Please come talk to me again, it's not that I hate you, I swear.
I love OOC discussions about characters, relationships, canons, thought processes, headcanon, future 'verses, how painful fandom is, why you should never click blue links, etc etc etc. Also plotting. Come, speak to me of your thoughts.
I also love drabbling. If you prod me enough, I will probably drabble something for you.
