He'd been far too alert since he knew Pollution was coming-- To see him no less. No other reason and it made part of him feel very strange. Squishy. He wasn't sure if he felt nauseous or happy, maybe a little of both.
He hesitated as he heard some footsteps outside, staring at the door. Was that him? He kept from rushing to the door, already ashamed he'd looked this desperate, but he just-- He wanted to see him. Wanted to ... Hold him? Could he do that? It was not the same anymore. He sat and forced his hands in his lap, waiting. Let him knock first.
He had half expected to find Gisborne out waiting for him. And from what little he did know of him, he knew it had been a stupid thing to assume, but he couldn't help feeling a little....he didn't want to say disappointed, but that was probably what it was.
He reached the door much too soon, in his opinion, and despite the initial hesitation he knocked quite firmly. "Guy....?"
Snapping alert, he stared at the door for a long moment, an unfamiliar fear rising in his belly, almost like... butterflies, or something. Anxiously, he rose, attempted to quickly calm himself and then crossed to the door. His hand lifted, hovered over the pull and then, in one tug, opened it. The look he gave him was less than welcoming at first, almost hard, angry but that lasted as long as his resolve not to look weak in front of him-- not that he had a choice in that. His expression softened considerably and he looked away quickly, nodding once in greeting.
He wasn't sure what he had expected to be greeted with, but that expression certainly wasn't it. Pollution almost found himself looking away, and it took some effort to hold the other man's gaze, giving him a small, strained smile. He'd faced worse than angry mortals before....yet when Gisborne turned away he let out a breath of relief he hadn't even known he'd been holding, and quickly moved inside.
"....so...." Here I am. Just liked you asked. "You wanted to see me."
