The loud noise startled Applejack, who had came down to the cafeteria to eat when she found the large group of humans and other creatures gathered, some of them looking not like the other humans. She turned just as the blond male human broke the table, shocked into silence.

After a minute, she slowly makes her way over, looking up at him worriedly. "Hey, what happened to the other humans? Why are you trying to break that thing?"

America has to pause for a second, to recover from the multiple shocks he's been receiving for attempting to smash the elevator and actually smashing a table, but the fury is still evident in how tightly wound he seems and the look in his eye.

"This place--this fucking place did something!"

He's yelling at the elevator even though he's responding to Applejack--and normally the sight of a talking pony would be of more note to him, except for what he'd seen today.

"They're down there, I know it--"

The next time his hand comes down on the elevator door it's not so loud, except for the crack as he breaks his own hand. They've taken his abilities away.

It doesn't stop him from using his other hand anyway.

Her ears flattened against her skull at the loud noises, wincing slightly when she heard the crack of bone breaking. Steeling herself, she tried to pull him away from the door with her teeth, grunting as the fabric of his shirt made her words muffled.

"Ghrh, don't hurt y'self!"

Because she knew, strong human or not, that there isn't any way he could get anything done by breaking himself.

"Hey, let go!"

America tugs against the pony pulling him back, but without his nation abilities he's a regular human, and the struggle is more difficult than he's used to.

"I can't just sit here, I have to fix it!"

Suzaku is just as angry. He had been in the cafeteria, saw what had happened. He had spent all week helping to look for his roomate, thinking that one of the trolls had taken him. But it was so much worse than that. He had had almost the same idea as America. He saw the man and frowned as he seemed to be in pain.

A whisper in his ear made him jump, he turned around looking. It had been happening all morning, a touch on his arm, a whisper in his ear, a figure just out of sight in the corner of his eye.

He shook his head, and approached the elevator. "Here let me try." He took a step back and delivered a spin kick that hurt his leg but left the elevator looking like nothing had happened. He didn't seem to be in any extra pain like the other man though. "It's bound to break eventually."

"It should've broken already," America growled, and another slam breaks his hand as his powers are deprived as punishment, another shock jolting him at the same time.

He pauses, but only to start yelling at the elevator again.

"Cowards! Come up here, you bastards!"

Suzaku saw the man's hand break, "Watch out." Suzaku kicked the door again, he doesn't bother shouting he doesn't think they will come up. He aimed another spin kick at the door.

"I don't think... it's going to be easy to break." He tried a third kick and a shock vibrated through him throwing him clear of the door.

"Dammit." America sounded exhausted, striking the door again and getting shocked again for his efforts. There has to be something he can do, but if he can't even break down one door...

[Molly watched him, her country, for a little while. She knew that he was strong but maybe she could help. If he couldn't do it by himself and she couldn't do it alone, maybe it would work if they did it together.]

[She approaches him slowly, still a bit shaken from the return of the others]

Want some help?

[America looks over, wondering when Molly even got here. Of course, he had been kind of distracted. And it was worth a shot, right? He manages to rein in his fury to address the girl.]

Sure. On three?

[She raises her fists and her eyes glow an angry pink]

Is it one, two, three or one, two, three, go? [she had to ask just in case, she doesn't want to get it wrong and miss the mark]

On go.

[America cracks his knuckles and takes a step back to get a better angle at the swing.]

One, two, three, go!

[He strikes hard, enough to break through most anything. It has to break the door, it has to, right?]

[ Under the same issue, Link was not pleased, but all the same, she was fighting it at present.

She frowns at America, though, knowing this won't help, and approaches, pulling on a pair of silver-plated gauntlets as she does. ]

... That alone won't open it.

[ If you get yourself shocked too much, it might not do any good for the people who've been hurt, America. 8(

SO STAND ASIDE, LET THE HYLIAN WITH HER POWER GAUNTLETS ON HAVE AT THIS BITCH. The gloves are off on now, Tower. So on.

Even though she gets a shock from it, Link ignores it. ATTEMPT TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THIS ELEVATOR #2 IS GO. ]

It should've opened it. There shouldn't be a door.

[America will let Link take her (well, America thinks his) chance at it, mostly because he's nursing multiple electric shocks and broken bones and needs a second to gather up more energy.]

[ There is the sound of metal groaning, but it does not give way--in fact, it looks more like something's disabled the magic in the gauntlets, and she he they're kind of furious about it.

Sigh. ]

... The evil will get their due.

[ COUNT ON IT, TOWER-RUNNING-EVIL GUYS. B( ALL THE HEROES DISLIKE YOU. Link has a sword waiting to gut these people... ]

They should get it now.

[America slams his unbroken hand against the elevator door, not hard enough to break it but enough to hurt, even ignoring the shock (which he was kind of getting used to).]

The noise causes Ivan to look up. Actually he was already looking up, because he refused to keep half of the inhabitants of the cafeteria out of his eyesight, and when he saw the American trying to break into the elevator shaft.... well, he stood up, shoulders stiff, moving to the elevator shaft himself, keeping his eyes open for any attack, the paranoia there, but then it was always sort of there. "If you break something bigger... Perhaps you could use it as a battering ram, of some sort?" he suggested, brows furrowed.

"I guess I could use a table or something..." He looked down at the now broken table thoughtfully. "It'd be better if there was something I couldn't break though. Then I could use it on the door."

It made sense, sort of.

Ivan looked thoughtful, staring at the table, a thoughtful look on his own face. "I am thinking the only things you cannot be breaking are the things you cannot be getting," he replied. Like the elevator door. And the tower itself. He knew enough of the American's strength in their past fights to know it was a pretty handy asset. Perhaps if they could take one of the doors off their hinges it might be heavy enough....
