[Yeah the sound of the boom is kind of hard to miss. Since Dean was sitting around the library doing absolutely nothing but being bored out of his skull, he decides to investigate. Hey, it's something to do. When he nears the place the sound came from and finds the perpetrator, he stops, staring at them.

Oh what the hell.]

Seriously? What the hell did that computer do to you?

[And yes he's staring. Nerds in costumes get that look from him.]

[ She has been caught! Oops. Have a frown and a headtilt. ]

... Computer?

[ Oh is that what it's called? The chicken in her hands flaps it's wings a bit, as if ruffled somewhat. Poor baby. Link is careful to make sure Cojiro is more comfortable, now. ]

[Oh god and they're completely stupid too. Just his luck.]

That thing you toasted. It's called a computer.

[But the computer isn't really his biggest interest here. It's a piece of junk anyway, no porn access to the internet at all. This person though, there's something weird about them. He. He won't say they're hideous or greasy like most nerds tend to be, but he will say one thing, with no small amount of disbelief.]

Your costume is unbelievably real. Did you come from a nerd convention or something? Is that where everyone else came from?

[With the amount of freaky costumes, he's willing to believe it to be honest.]

[ ... She is really confused by you, Dean. The look on her face? Nothing but pure confusion. It's like, dude, speak Hylian, she doesn't GET YOUR WORDS.

But... regardless... she can't help but stare back and notice that hey, this dude has round ears? Instead of answering the confusing questions, she just... tilts her head curiously. This man, he isn't Hylian? ]

... Your ears...

[ They're round. o: ]

[Suzaku is starting to think that a leaflet about how to use the computers, and what computers were should be included if these people were going to insist on kidnapping those from worlds without such technology. His second thought is that this fire needs to be put out, and he disapears without saying anything, coming back a moment later with a tub of water and some towels.]

Here [He soaks one of the towels and passes it over raising an eyebrow at the arrow.] Why did you attack it?

[ ... Headtilt. Well, you see, what she would like to explain is that her blue chicken here walked all over the keyboard and it made weird noises, which frightened them both, as she expected it to whir to life and probably attempt to kill her, like most magic creatures made of stone she's encountered.

So she shot it with an arrow. Instead, all that she manages to say is: ]

... Is it not dangerous?

[ She kind of... doesn't have her chatty fairy friend to tell her if it isn't right now, so she... just assumed. ]

[Suzaku looks back at the water, figuring that pouring water on an electric device will make things worse, he goes to the wall and finds the plugs, pulling them out.]

No, though like this it could be. Usually though, computers are not dangerous. [He is now smothering the smoking computer with wet towels.]

[ ... Oh. Um... she doesn't even know what electricity is, so she's assuming it's some sort of magical instrument. Meanwhile, Cojiro will be ruffling his feathers.

There really are more pressing concerns, though, perhaps-- ]

Is it true?

[ What that letter said. She doesn't want to believe it. That she failed all of Hyrule. ]

[don't mind him. just, you know, a fully grown sea-dwelling troll stomping in. his clothing is still rather the worse for wear, what with one sleeve entirely in burnt to shambles and his pants sporting rather large claw scores along them. also, that sword's seen better days.

he halts in his progress to his bed momentarily, cape agitating about his heels, and surveys her with scorn-- though, with slight curiosity mingled in as well. those ears were... different than from what he'd observed on the other humans, and the mess she persisted in creating about her area was nothing less than eyebrow-raise worthy. he allows himself a chuckle, however, at her attire and consequent weaponry.]

I hope you don't plan on tryin' to use any 'a that.

[ ... That earns a glare as she digs out her Ocarina and pockets it into her things. It otherwise just looks like a useless flute, but it's important to her.

The next thing dug out is a small blue chicken, which she places on the bed. (It only looks slightly ruffled by all this.

Her sword is drawn, because she certainly does intend to use all of it. To this hero, you definitely FEEL evil, Dualscar--she's got a sense for that sort of thing. And the cape doesn't help you much. Yeah, she fully intends to fight you if need be. ]

... Did you take me here?

[ Yes, they can talk! ]

[good eye. if one could smell such a thing, dualscar would probably reek of it. that is, if evil can be recognized if the individual actually doesn't consider himself such... in his eyes, all his actions are perfectly reasonable and entirely justified. he raises an eyebrow]

I've better things to do than kidnap a bunch'a brinesuckin' humans, believe me.

[he resumes and completes his way to his bed, tossing his sword upon it and taking a seat next to it. he begins to unlace his boots, occasionally glancing to her. overestimation of his amount of safety when there aren't ones of his kind around? perhaps, but he has yet to learn.]

That said, you can put that away.

[ ... She's not buying it. And really, maybe to him, but to her they'd be nothing short of horrific, and his appearance... she just doesn't like the vibes you give her.

So no, she will not be lowering her sword, nor will she stop glaring at this strange creature. He reminded her of one of Ganon's evil servants, and she had to be on guard without Navi here to help explain friend or foe.

... Though his words confuse her. ]

Humans?

[ She's from a world where everyone has pointed ears and magic. So uh, never heard of humans? EXPLAIN PLEASE. ]

And this is why animals and machines and Hylians from really medieval worlds don't mix. ]

[A. Blue. Chicken. Really.
What the hell, man. What the hell.]

What, the chicken did it? Sorry, but I really don't think it's capable of using a bow and arrow.

... It was angered. I defended myself.

[ So she shot it. ]
