thus, as he's passing by the door, he halts... spotting Ed engrossed in his obviously pre-programmed task. having the appearance of a kid doesn't stop the Commander (who doesn't look much older than eighteen himself) from heading in his direction with clear intent in his eyes.
...and it isn't exactly the intention to sit down and have a tea party. he looks tensed in that way that comes right before someone throws a punch at your face.]
Get up.
[and THAT was rather demanding, wasn't it? he doesn't have much in the way of manners at all. >:]

Following his brother hurriedly, he laid a hand on his shoulder to try and instil some restraint into him.]
Would you mind talking to us for a moment, please?

Tch. Why the hell should I?

a woman. the sight is familiar, and he hesitates just perceptibly... before the mild surprise at finding a cathedral in this place is replaced, instead, with irritation. of course, they'd make a mockery of this, too. of the things Lilith and Seth prized...]
You. [he has no respect for this place of worship, it seems -- calling outright to the woman within it as heavy footfalls announce his approach. he's pointing at her, expression one of cold displeasure.]
Get me out of here, or I'll kill every one of your worthless AI's. I've had enough of this bullshit.

[Cain had no more faith in God than his twin, but he believed in behaving with reverence around others' beliefs and places of worship. It might not be a real cathedral, but Lilith would still not be impressed at them barging in with no respect.]
I'm sorry, miss, he doesn't mean that. But we would like your help.

I'm sorry, but this place has a strange way of muting sounds and voices. [ She had to shout to get her voice across, even when she's less than a foot away from them. ] You must be new here.

He had sent the hawk can on patrol, but that wasn't much. And so for now, he was occupied on the fifth floor, with a popsicle in hand as he appeared to be watching the viewfinders for some sort of useful hint-- although in reality he had much more interest in the security station, but he doubted it would be a good thing if the people running the place knew that.

However, unlike Abel, he wasn't willing to push even the AI people out of the way to get to his goal. And when he sees someone already occupying the room, he gives them a polite smile. It was often the case that drones programmed to act as security personnel were more violent, more protective of their positions, and he would rather avoid that if he could.
"Excuse us."

He let out a 'tch' of annoyance at this endeavor before he realized there were actually people in the room. Dealing with people didn't sound very pleasant either, but, what else was he going to do. So Ankh turned around and leaned against the consoles he had been viewing, taking a bite off the top of his popsicle and leveling both Cain and Abel with a look.
"What do you want?"

It was unlikely that this one would have anything of use, but he's leaving no stone unturned -- footsteps taking him closer to the stranger he fully believes is an A.I. programmed in a virtual simulation training scenario.
"Give me the mission objective." No, that isn't a request.

Their training simulations had spanned all sorts of terrain before, of course, but this one was certainly one of the most bizarre. It had a very eclectic feel, and it just added to the unease Cain was feeling.
"Abel, be gentle."

Seemed someone was being a wee bit ridiculous about seclusion.

Abel has taken up position beyond this little bubble of... seclusion, crouching down outside the blanket draped over the opening in this make-shift... tent. Mumbling...?
This was definitely an oddity in the otherwise quiet and mostly unoccupied library, and naturally required investigation -- thus, the silver-haired man is reaching forward to tug the blanket away and peer within. What have we here...?

Laying his hand on his brother's forearm, he squeezed slightly in a gesture to be careful as he peered inside, prepared to yank him backwards if anything dangerous seemed to be within.

"Huh?!"
The blonde inside reeled away from the tent's entrance, smacking his back against the wall and holding Kingdom Key out to protect himself. The book was splayed awkwardly across his knee, and he looked pretty shaken and worn out, especially the deep bags under his eyes.
"Wh-who are you?"
Most people didn't bother his little library corner, so if anything, they had to be new, or just nosy.
