Hi I'm Melanie and I like Green Tea Mochi (it's this Japanese ball shaped ice cream). I found this place through Un-History. Though I'm pretty much a lurker over there.

Anyway I am super-psyched for Tower Prep. The reason this show draws me in is because it has sustenance compared to the other shows out there tv shows wise for teens. The plot is different then the shows currently airing right now. The shows that are on now are either about becoming an actor or singer or basically rich people struggling with their lives or something. Don't get me wrong those shows are enjoyable to watch but that gets old real fast (at least for me).

But for Tower Prep the plotline reminds me of the tv shows I grew up with and I miss those teenagie shows where a basically group of "misfits" band together to.. ( save the world, defeat evil, oppose authoritative forces, etc.) and I SO can't not wait for the pilot! =]

I'm Maison. I came here from un_history.

I'm tuning in because Unnatural History managed to be pretty awesome despite my very low expectations for a live-action show on Cartoon Network and I want to see if the trend continues (and anything created by Paul Dini is pretty much guaranteed to be awesome). I really love that they seem to be moving towards strong hour-long teen dramas instead of the fluffy low-budget sitcoms of Nick/Disney.

Also, a school for teens with powers is a concept that I love in any form.

I'm really excited for Tower Prep after the awesomeness that was Unnatural History-- hoping the live-action awesomeness continues, seeing as CN can't do anything else right these days... *cough* Plus, I'm shallow, and the MC is pretty. XD

i pretty much think everyone came over from the un_history comm lol i was looking for one a month ago and solarbaby made one so i joined b/c i need a place to squee :D

Um, I'm not from un_history. I had all the episodes on my DVR for the longest time, but I never got into it and it was taking up space. :(

Well, I've looked at all the other topics and I'm glad I have things in common with people here. I've seen some AVPM, Professor Layton and Percy Jackson icons so...YAY!

Things I like: Harry Potter, LOST, Percy Jackson, Law&Order, House, Glee, Hunger Games, South Park...lots of other things but I can't think of them. I'll probably freak out when I see icons that remind me of things I like.
