Does anyone understand this? It's 5:55am and I've been awake all night trying to pass this damned test, so maybe I'm not able to think as clearly as I'd like. You can rule out A and C because an applicant is not a customer because they haven't yet purchased anything.
You can rule out D because a customer does have a relationship with the insurer.
So the logical answer would be B. It makes sense too, because the word consumer is a general term for a group of people who use a particular good or service. The word customer is far more personal.
