I saw "To Halve and to Hold" the other day for the first time in a long time and it made me realize how much I liked the Gil/Catherine friendship of S1. This popped out. It's not slash, but it's not het or gen, either. Ach. You decide.

That's wonderful good-friends-sex there. And Catherine's got just the right sense of ironic self-distance balanced with edgy humour and sweet susceptibility to sentiment. And Griss is ... so Griss, muttering under the covers, blushing and being reticent.
