That turned out lovely! I don't know why you say it looks like a beginner piece, you did a great job. I love crochet, but I never could figure out how to keep a tension properly so nothing I've ever made turned out the right size.

Thank you, Brenda! I actually like it although it is a bit plain looking. I couldn't figure out how to knit properly, so I switched to crochet. With the hat pattern, you just crochet until it becomes the right size, so the tension doesn't matter much.
