Like your comment on trying to understand the human race. One thing that is apparent from reality tv is that is rewards and brings fame to ppl demontrating bad behavior. I have yet to figure out whether we watch them to make ourselves feel better about our own "ordinary" lives. I watch the housewives franchises on Bravo and it is apparent that every season there is 1 villian, 1 victim and the rest of the cast spends an entire season acting like they were back in high school. Andy Cohen is making a forture off these women's lives and yet there has not been one reality tv where men act as bad as some of these women in reality tv

I agree that people acting badly brings on (some of) the viewers. I can't watch shows like Big Brother though, because it seems like the rudest, worst people win...same with Survivor. I really do try to fathom human behavior, and I think the camera sometimes catches people off guard, where we see the real people behind the facade.

I haven't watched the housewives. I bet it's addicting though, LOL! I don't need another TV addiction right now.

Sorry to hear that you're between jobs. I've been there. :( The Gallery Girls show features young women mostly working at free internships or for jobs with very little money. It's suspenseful to watch because I'm always hoping for the best for them, even though they can be snobby at times.

I have seen 1 episode of Gallery Girls and those girls do come across as mean girls.

I recently discovered Revenge and that has become a new fall show for me to follow.

Being unemployed sucks, but I have been on a few interviews and am hoping for something to turn into a full time job offer before the holiday : )
