Seeds

I planted some lavender seeds in a flowerpot yesterday. If they sprout successfully I'll give them to my mother for a Mother's Day gift. She tried to grow lavender last year, after ordering some plants through the mail. The first plants arrived totally dead. The second plants looked like gray, miniature, dried pine trees, not lavender plants.

oh seeds are a good idea! i tried growing lavender off a cutting once but it didnt work. might try find some seeds.

So far only 2 of the seeds have started germinating. The rest might be duds because I bought the pack last year so they're old and maybe expired. I'll probably buy another packet. I really hope I can grow them.
