that romanesco broccoli is hilarious!! it looks silver

It does have a silvery gray sheen on it, something like that "fog" or whatever it is that you see on grapes. When I wash off some leaves to prepare them for cooking, the sheen starts to rub off a bit.

what does the dinosaur thing taste like?

It's like a milder version of collard greens, if you know how they taste. I sauteed the leaves with olive oil, onions and garlic.
