We had a lot of rain this past summer, and I wonder if that created more numerous and larger leaves, lol!

Oh no...you should plant more trees anyway, lol! They'll grow slowly, and the next generation will have to rake up the larger amounts of leaves. ;) Our two big maples are pretty old now -- I don't know how old exactly, but that's why they produce so many leaves.

You could also plant evergreens instead. :)

Wow! We just have to rake them all down to the curb. We had more than you I think, all still sitting in a huge pile where no one can park.

In some areas there is a curbside leaf pick up around here, but not in my neighborhood, unfortunately!
