I was enjoying my spaghetti until I heard Pharaoh retching and I was like OH SHIT....so I grabbed my HW notebook (it's an old notebook with blank paper left over so I use it for scratch paper when I do chem hw) and dashed to him so he could throw up on it and I wouldn't have to pick it up ( Read more... )

Once every two weeks seems a pretty normal hairball schedule to me; I had a cat that threw up a lot more often than that but he was a longhair.

Though if they eat canned food its a lot more gross. XD

I don't see any hairballs though in his vomit. I thought it was hairballs at first...but...he's just throwing up.
He used to throw up almost every other day for a while when I first got him.......but he doesn't have parasite and he's been dewormed...so..iono what's going on with him.
He's alot better now....it's just once every 2 weeks.

But yeah.....I feed them half a can of canned food for dinner...and...it's nasty, lol.

Maybe it's time to try and feed him somehting else? We're currently buying chicken mince and feeding our cats with it.

I don't think anything's wrong with him. A lot of cats just throw up regularly. I know a lot of people who's cats just retch frequently and have no health problems whatsoever. It's probably just something their bodies don't want to digest.
