OMG! exciting! You have to take pictures, because I totally want to see. Isn't shopping for your own place AWESOME?! I still have to buy small stuff like shower curtains and whatnot....it's those small things you can't buy until you're actually IN the place.
I'm gonna take SO many pictures! I'm trying to buy colourful things because my landlord said no painting whatsoever. :(
I LOVE shopping for my own place!! But my parents still have more of a say in what I have than I do. A lot of my furniture is hand-me-down, but whatever.
I have 4 roommates (we're living in a rented house), so we're trying to equally bring things for the house like cleaning supplies, cooking utensils, etc.
lol! Yeah...I'm buying colorful things too!!! I also do alot of my own paintings and just hang em up but I haven't had the time to paint.....and I just packed away all my art supplies like yesterday.
Alot of my furniture is hand-me-downs as well. But no prob; I worked around it. My couch is an obnoxious cherry red, so I'm buying alot of stuff to match it, hahahaha. I LOVED buying all my kitchen stuff. I was like..OMG, my own pots and pans!!!
I'm by myself though...no roommates. After 2 years, I told myself I'm not meant to live with other girls, lol
I've been alright. I'm still deciding whether or not I'll be transferring to SCAD (we're waiting to hear back on how many of my credits they'll accept), so for now I've just been sitting around my parent's house.
Transferring is a horrible, stressful, long, tedious and strenuous ordeal. Not trying to scare you; just telling you the truth. I'm pretty sure you're aware of that by now (been skimming your LJ) BUT IT'S SO TOTALLY WORTH IT if you're going for what you want!

Parents suck, though...they don't really make things easier, especially on the move form school to school.
