Hinamori set off for the conference room as soon as she could after receiving the message. This was a little more successful today since she had taken great care to avoid the lobby, least she get stuck in it again, and she wasn't trapped in another person's body.

She just hoped her temporary inability to pronounce L's and certain words wouldn't get in the way.

The conference room wasn't too hard to find, and she hesitantly approached before knocking three times, opening the door a crack and peering in.

"Dissu... this is the meeting place, right?"

Suzaku had become so absorbed in his writing that when Momo spoke his tail flicked a few papers clear off the table as he looked up. Ignoring the pages fluttering to the floor, he stuck his gadget back in his pocket, the points of his new fangs just barely visible as he smiled and got up to greet her.

"Yeah, we'll be meeting in here, Momo." He replied, walking over to the doorway so he wasn't speaking to her from across the room. "The others aren't here just yet."

With a short shunpo, Momo gathered the papers before they touched the ground, returning back to her spot previously and handing them to Suzaku. She wasn't startled by his fangs, if she really did notice them. She was just glad she got there in time.

"Okay! Guess I'm earry." She grimaced a little at the last word, but decided to refrain from correcting herself. It'd only make it worse.

The fact that Momo was able to do that left Suzaku dumbfounded, blinking at the papers for a moment. Sure he could move quickly but the fact that she'd been able to collect the papers like that was a rather amazing feat. Of course, she was able to do a lot of things one might not have expected.

"Thanks." He said after a delayed moment, looking down at the papers and then back at Momo. "And it looks like it. Things are always crazy around here so I guess it's not surprising that it's taking people a while to arrive."

Suzaku, have I told you, lately, that I love you? peach_pitt November 19 2008, 08:12:09 UTC
Momo didn't notice anything at all odd or surprising about her actions, or the occasional display of death god abilities. She'd gotten quite accustomed to the fact that everyone she knew could do these things and more, along with the fact that she's hopelessly oblivious. Hanging around deceased souls for the better part of your afterlife did that to you.

And so she just smiled at his thanks, a faint dusting of pink coloring her cheeks. She still wasn't used to people thanking her so much.

"Mm, or maybe they're worried about leaving their room? Some of the conditions this week are a bit intimidating, aren't they?" A worried look furrowed her brow, and a part of her wished she could do something more to help.
