[Hiei is quite pleased with his floor today.  He's on the farm floor.  And what farm isn't complete without an animal or two?  He has long discarded the pack of seeds and has found himself a more acceptable food source.   Hiei is currently sitting in the middle of the floor, gnawing on the leg of a cow.  The cow is still alive

[glancing at that cow]

I had thought ranching involved ending the animal's life before it was consumed.

[He lifts his head to reveal his face and front is drenched in cow's blood.]

It'll be dead soon enough.

[He eyes her suspiciously. She was kind enough to him the other day when he was dancing like a moron. She certainly gave more insight to the hotel's workings.]

[it's his cow, but still.] I do pity the poor animal, though. Still, I suppose it can't be saved now it's missing a leg.
