I think when you love someone, you feel like you want to be by their side always. You want to protect them, serve them; they are most important to you.

You always think of them. Especially during nights when you can't sleep, or when you're away from them. The thought of them getting hurt is more painful to you than for them.

At least, that's what it was for me.
