[Allen, who had his back turned to the stranger, falls and curls up into a ball as the heavy mass squishes him; he beings to whimper quietly.]

[Koromaru notices that it was a male and not a cat. . A bit disappointed but highly curious, he presses his paw on Allen's back. Unsure of why the figure is whimpering.]

[Allen cries out in pain quietly and tries to relieve the stress on his injury by feebly pushing the paw away. -FAILS- ]

Ow! Get off of me, you monster!

[Obviously, he doesn't know the identity of the creature on top of him]

[fidgets with her gadget.]

I-I hadn't ... heard from you in a while ... I was hoping you were okay.

I guess you aren't... [frown.]

Indeed. I'm struggling a little bit here.
Can you hear that? [banging noise quickly intensifies]

My innocence won't activate, and there's these really...dangerous monsters outside of the hospital room, and...and...
...there's no weapon around here, either!

[beginning to panic on the other side of the line.]

I-I can. I'm so sorry, Allen, I just ... I don't know how to help you.

[pause, and ... remembers something someone told her.] Hold on; I'll be right there.

[Multiple gunshots and a loud crash is heard before the door is kicked off its hinges. In steps Cross, all badass like with Judgement smoking from the tip]

[Poor Allen is faced with a dilemma: have the monsters kill him, or have Cross kick his ass until his innocence begins to work]

My innocence? It stopped functioning after I got beat up by those monsters earlier...
I've tried activating it several times, but it just won't work!

[stares at arm]

[Mmm, he so enjoys the sound of panic. Thusly, he's standing outside the door and slicing through the occasional monster that comes by, just so he might hear more of those pathetic little cries.

And he lets the blood pool and crawl through the crack beneath the door.]

[Allen panics slightly at the sight of blood, and walks up to the door, examining the substance leaking through the crack]

Ah! I certainly hope that no one is...hurt out there.
I'd rather have myself be hurt than anyone else...

[grabs another prodding stick and waits at the door, ready to put up a fight]

[He has to cover his laugh with a smirk, but ... well, that's not particularly challenging. And instead of taking down the next monster, he simply slides out of view, letting the creatures flock. As per usual, he walks away unharmed.]

[Allen continues to panic, and converses with himself]

It just seems to get louder and louder...
