Thank you! After watching the first few episodes, I couldn't shake off the notion that John's reaaalllly awkward at first, even though there were some inconsistencies in how he acted towards Stahl. And after the actual order was released, it made even more sense! Honestly, though, nervous!awkward!John is just too cute to handle.

I'm actually currently writing a first-date sequel because I'm hoping to turn it into a little series. Unfortunately, I'm kinda notorious for not finishing what I start because I get distracted too easily with RL and then I accidentally lose interest. <<;; I'm hoping a friend will badger me until I'm forced to finish it. Here's hoping :P

Honey, I do not blame the poor boy. I'm a total sucker for those blue eyes but especially that breathtaking smile, it drives me up the wall.

Seriously though, I've noticed that Stahl smiles a lot in the show (and there's another beautiful smile) and that John can't take his eyes off her when she does.

OMG! I need MORE of this. I loved every bit of it and you did such a great job with their "voices". I love the inner "voice" that John has with himself and James is exactly what I would expect when you place Chris Pine in that role! Absolutely perfect. Any plans to write the first date? Would love to see more of this!

Aha, John's 'inner voice' is actually the part that I meant as cracky because I love that kind of thing. Also, sometimes I can practically see his panicking thoughts on his face in the actual show.
