Juushirou sends a Hell Butterfly to find Rukia, "Kuchiki-kun, this is your captain, I need to speak with you before you return to your post. Please come to my office at your convenience."
Hell Butterflies are certainly able little critters in getting their messages to the proper recipients. As soon as the dark colored insect flutters away from Rukia's finger, she turns her direction to head to the 13th division.
Ukitake is a patient man, and had said 'at your convenience' but Rukia never likes to keep her captain waiting.
"Kuchiki Rukia, reporting!" she calls, knocking lightly on the man's office door before sliding it open. "You requested to see me, Ukitake-taichou?"
"I did indeed, Kuchiki. There were rumors floating around and I went to talk with Shunsui about them. Several of them pertain to your post directly." Juushirou chuckles and indicates the seat before his desk, "Please take a seat, I found it quite helpful when I first heard this news to have a seat..."
Rumors? Rumors that it was good to talk to Kyouraku-taichou about? That didn't sound good. Rukia's eyes widen a bit with surprise and confusion. She really is not sure what this could be pertaining to. She comes into the room to take the offered seat.
She is not sure she will need it though. Rumors were just that, baseless often, and she really cannot think of a thing she has done recently to give base to any rumors.
"I'll be happy to put any rumors about me to rest, Ukitake-taichou."
Juushirou blinks at that, "Thank you, Kuchiki, that is very responsible of you, but these had nothing to do with you. They did have to do with your post in Karakura and I needed to update you on what has happened there. Ise-kun and Abarai-kun fell through one of the Holes today into Krarkura, with one of Abarai-kun's subordinates. They got appropriate supplies from Urahara-kun and then went to have lunch. That's when Aizen appeared and asked them to... defect to his side. Naturally, they refused. But that he appeared at all worries me."
