Rogue swallowed a groan. That? The sound of his lighter opening and closing, if he decided to make a habit out of it? Was going to get irritating. Fast.

Too funny. I love that line.

I am so anxious for the next part! This was just wonderful--really caught my attention and held it.

And, naturally they are meeting at midnight. When else would it be? ;)

Haha. I don't even know why they're meeting at midnight. Well, I sorta do. But sorta don't. The characters just pretty much told me that that was what they were doing and I shrugged and went with it.

You are. I blame KD. It's her fault for having a John that clicked with my Rogue which then turned me into a shipper which then turned into me writing 100 shorts for kicks and to see if I could do it. And now I'm making you read them in the hopes that you'll be sucked into the vortex too.

Once upon a time, I was a Rogue/Gambit shipper. So much for that.

I blame KD, too. Because you guys do really work well together. And it's amazing, and for the movie? I totally buy it. Well. I should rewatch them with it in mind to see if I really buy it. But I don't like Bobby, so, you know, this is better than that.

You can still ship them in comic-verse things. OR SHIP TAROT/PYRO. Man, is Pyro shipped with anyone else besides Rogue? Well, and Bobby a lot, both thanks to the movies. But I don't read much fan fiction, because fandoms generally scare me. Hahaha. Yeah. Yet I RP. Who knows?

Well, technically, for movie canon it is canon... not the actual ship, but the fact that there are feelings there, at least from John's end. Not that the movies themselves do a great job of getting that across, but there's a little more on it in the novelizations of the movies.

Yeah, but I hate Gambit now:) And I DO SHIP TAROT/PYRO. But only our Tarot/Pyro. And, um, I think Pyro's also shipped with Kitty, although the general feeling I've gotten is that Pyro/Rogue shippers can't stand Kitty. And, like you said, with Bobby. But I don't buy Bobby/John at all. No one's going to convince me that they're both anything but very much heterosexual.
