It makes me personally embarrassed to be Australian and an MCR fan when there's people who find it not-at-all creepy, or just plain rude, to fucking sleep at the boys doorsteps.

Seriously, stop ruining it for the rest of us, assholes.

Some Adelaide fanboy on twitter was cursing Frank out for this post, just raging that MCR didn't give him what he considered that he was entitled to in Adelaide. This is just before he was cursing at MCR fanGIRLS for chasing the band--presumably making it so that he couldn't chase them himself. And he was mad that Gerard, Mikey, and Ray acknowledged him but Frank didn't. Ugh.

Luckily, it looks like MCR fans in general don't like it when you start swearing at Frank on twitter and he actually had to take his twitter down for an hour or so under the deluge of counter-attacks. :)

Lol -what he considered that he was entitled to. Seriously. Don't like what is says on the tin? Don't buy it. They don't owe anyone anything.

I'm assuming you mean the fanboy had to take his tweet down, not Frank?

I suppose my initial response is fairly ruthless. Especially since it seems most fans aren't assholes, but it's always the ones that are who stand out amongst the crowd, unfortunately.

LOL! Not just that tweet, but he took his entire twitter account offline! He came back, sadly, and is venting just as much as before, so maybe he didn't learn his lesson. His attitude towards women in general, fangirls in particular, and anyone who disagrees with him especially is...how shall I put this? Highly offensive. I've been sniping at him a fair bit, and I'm considering continuing.

I did ask him, politely, that if his heroes have disappointed him so badly, could he consider getting some new ones and leaving the band alone? No response. :)

There were 3-4 DOZEN people waiting when I got there for my flight, moving in packs and going to all the gates with Perth departures. Apparently by the time they actually got there, it was down to around 9-10. I've never in my life been so embarrassed to be wearing a MCR t-shirt. >:(

Seriously, I don't get it, do they WANT their favorite band to think they're a bunch of creepy freaks?

Ahh, so I guess he decided to say something today 'cause it was worse than other days. It can probably also get the guys in trouble at the airport, like...they'll get the complaints 'cause of the people gathering around them. :/

I think some of that happened the only time they came here too. And I understand that it's different for us (just like it is for Australia) 'cause we have to wait so much to see them and don't know when the next time will be. I can understand some fans (especially kids) being too excited (and that's why I'm not too fast to condemn). But...some common sense is needed. An airport is NOT the place for that and it's also a very bad moment to bother ANYONE. I personally would rather never meet them than do it in that forced way while they're probably cursing at me mentally. *shakes head*

Apparently there were also some really badly behaved fans at Gold Coast--to the point where, when the guys politely said they'd do autographs (and possibly pictures, I've heard it both ways) but not hugs, some girl grabbed Gerard and, like, clung. The band was also chased, and some girls were crying. But I never saw anyone at any of the other airports--although granted Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney were all much bigger and so there'd be plenty of chances for the boys to be stashed safely in a lounge or hustled out a side entrance if necessary ( ... )

I will never understand how a person's wish to meet their favorite band overrides NOT CARING THAT YOU ARE MAKING YOUR FAVORITE BAND HATE YOU. IDK.

My heart sank after seeing that on twitter :( Especially since yesterday was so awesome. Hometown, you are better than this.

But this is the nicest polite "don't be creepy!" message I think I've ever seen.

Why must fans be so crazy, seriously. Because of crazy fans, it made the last show I saw of theirs really, really difficult to enjoy. I ended up having to go sit in the bar for the rest of the show because of the amount of fights breaking out in the pit and just the general fuckingcraziness of it all.

But seriously, stalking the boys at the airports? Not. Cool. Not acceptable. This is WHY they have beefed up security, because some fans could be seen as a threat, really.

asdfk this sort of crap drives me crazy.
