i will never tire of hearing the boys talk about their instruments. and how much time they spend with each other. oh, wonderful interview.

Oh my god this entire interview is PURE GOLD. Like. LET ME COUNT THE WAYS (lol).

1. THEY LOVE WRITING MUSIC TOGETHER SO MUCH, GUYS. AUGH.

2. Mikeyway is all about throwing matches onto the woodpile and seeing what ignites. BEST.

3. Frank's custom guitar that he built because the old guitar was TOO HEAVY FOR HIM, basically, because he's TINY.

4. RAY FUCKING TORO STILL PLAYING ON THE GUITAR HIS BROTHER GAVE HIM FOR CHRISTMAS IN THE MID-NINETIES AUGH.

5. Mikeyway just liking how fun his bass is to play, pure and simple.

I love everything about this band oh my god.

I REALLY wanted them to cut back to Gerard during the "Tools of the Trade" part, so he could say something like "I sing... into a microphone. :D!" because hilarious.

AND OF COURSE FRANK'S SECRET WEAPON IS THE SWOLLEN PICKLE. OF COURSE.

But really, I love how much they love each other and love writing with each other and how much they inspire each other. So great. ♥
