I could see him saying this to Lothiriel, the veiled approach, and she has been looking too! It's a good touch to mention all the brothers and Amrothos looking but not actually helping Eomer, maybe out of a sense of not wanting to call attention to Eomer's weakness? Anyway, I enjoyed this 'fill-in moment' of Eomer/Lothiriel.

I'm not sure how this came to be overlooked but with LJ finally stabile and working today I've made a effort to read through all my messages.
This is a lovely story. Not to many write about Eomer, and to find this little gem - priceless.
Very nice touch, his seasickness and Lothiriel eventually coming to his assistance. Have you though of a sequel - her eventual going to Edoras? Would be interesting to read.
My apologies again, and thanks for this gem.
