Yeah I guess that one did kind of hurt. I was not in a good place when I wrote it, and I guess it kind of came through...

Since his son was never shown any kind of mercy, Burt really shouldn’t have been surprised that it wasn’t a quick kill, a death shot or anything.
This tied my stomach into knots. And when it continued on to describe one of the worst ways to die on... the flood gates pretty much opened.

I couldn't read it in one go. So I read a little over these last few days, because it was so painful.

The ending is so incredibly sad.

I know, I think I hit a bit harder than I actually intended. Of course it's suppose to kind of feel like a punch to the gut, but it really wasn't suppose to make people cry, I do feel bad about that.
